Expanding access beyond traditional agricultural credit

The Bank gradually diversified its activities by opening branches in potential centres and mobilising deposits. Its Bye-laws were amended in 1991 to enable the enrolment of individuals and corporate bodies as nominal members and to extend non-agricultural finance.

Today, the Bank operates through 19 branches and serves a network of 194 affiliated societies, including 17 LAMPCS and 44 Service Cooperative Societies.
